Okay. More like an anime catch up, but because we didn't grow up with Naruto. Yeah, yeah. Like Naruto became popular, what, when we were in college-ish?

Yeah, because that's when I was, I think my fresh can't I went to the freaking two years, so I don't even want to call it freshman, but my first semester of college, yeah. A friend of mine was showing me uh parts of the tune in exams, so it was already popping by the time we were in college.

Yeah, and it's created a large fan base the world over. Everybody for a long time was doing the Naruto run.

Um yeah, but uh, so my overall take on the show, I haven't watched it the most uh the most recent it stinks. I don't like it, I don't like it at all.

I don't like this fucking show, I don't like the fucking people. I think we're gonna have like three different uh takes on this. I find certain parts of it decent. It's just there are some parts that kind of make me eye roll. Kishimoto's uh riding for women is and it's notorious ass, though.

Yeah. Um, it wasn't so much like there's the only part that I liked in this show was the last fight between Sasuke and Naruto. It is an iconic fight. That is all it's super iconic.

I mean, you get like little tidbits here and there. It it it's a big buildup for it as far as pretty much the first entire the first series is pretty much an entire build-up for that last fight.

So, and I think that's one of the big holdouts for a lot of fans is that last fight was such and and imagine at the time that was oh yeah.

Um, I could see the One Piece fights being maybe a little bit more entertaining, but I've never really seen One Piece, so yeah, I'm not even attacking that behemoth.

But I am a fan of the live action, the earnestness of the live action, the production behind it, they out of any live action anime series I've watched, other than there's a movie series, the Raroni Kentra movie series. I've seen the first one. I was very impressed with that. Other than that, it's probably the best adaptation I've seen.

Back to Naruto. Oh my god, yeah, sorry. I respect I respect it's I respect it as one of the progenitors. I respect it just um we were big on Dragon Ball Z growing up. We had Dragon Ball Z on channel 11, and we watched the Santa Saga, I don't know how many fucking times. So many because they won't get more episodes, so yeah, you can't just over.

As I got older, I realized there's no use in having nostalgic algorithms just bullshit anyway.

I look at it kind of like again, I give it the grace of the time of when it came out. So I'm like, I cool. It is kind of it's kind of more I don't know. I mean I'm trying to pit the fights against like like Dragon Ball Z ish that's rough.

It is completely different style, but I'm I'm trying to think of as as far as the times versus you know, like comparing it to like compare it to Bleach, if anything else. Uh see, I don't know when Bleach ran.

And the thing is bleach doesn't really throw hands like that. Bleach Naruto did kind of usher in the more dynamic fights for anime, like even in compared to Dragon Ball, like the fights were they, you know, everything was drawn so fast, so you couldn't see you know what was happening.

Whereas this one, yeah, this one kind of slowed it down a little bit, you start to see a little bit. Yeah, it's just the my issue is probably it's probably one of your issues, is like it was too much teenage angst and any point teenage angst. I thought they weren't even teenage yet.

Except for like you have to there are a few people and you'll see them probably mostly in Shippeden once you if you yeah, I'll watch Shippeden because we'll get into it, but yeah, continue. Yeah, uh there are a few people in Shippeden where it's fuck you because they of what they've done. And even then he kind of softens.

Oh, that's where we're introduced to um Naruto and um the whole concept of uh ninjutsu and um as well as we see meet our other characters, um um Kakashi, Hatake, uh Sasuke, Uchia, and um Sakura Haruno when they're made a part of Team 7. Um before that it's kind of a le that's more of a prologue. It's uh sets up um just Naruto on his own, how mischievous he is, uh mischievous he is, and um just the fact that he doesn't really care, he pretends not to care what other people think. And because secretly he wants to be the most respected person in the village.

Yeah, so it's not it wasn't really made for that purpose, like that way. But you know, that's what Toraba sign wanted. That's how he made the thing. There's a huge time skip. Like but uh a lot of the stuff didn't really matter. I think he had a huge it didn't seem he forgot about characters that he wrote into Dragon Ball himself. And I think that um it was the 80s, yeah. I think Kishimoto kind of uh I think there are parts that you would miss in Ship It In had you not seen the original Naruto. Yes, absolutely, but that shit was painful to watch.

But yeah, uh Sasuke is put up in the hospital, um, and then that's when they go to try to achieve Tsunade. And um, yeah, so the fight between the three legendary Sani happened. Um and also during this arc is when um uh No Return learns the Rosinga, which becomes his staple move besides the Shadow Clone jutsu. And the talkingoj. And the Takuma Jutsu is not a real power, but yeah.

He's so mad that he that this show is called Naruto, and that's basically his gripe because at this point, Sasuke uh Naruto knows uh summoning jutsu, the shadow clone jutsu, and the Rosinga. And the only thing that um Sasuke has really unlocked is the Chidori and um his Sharinga. And um but and also he's got that fire ball jutsu, and he he can throw good hands. Um, but also Naruto's has learned a bit of Taijutsu too, so it kind of and so honestly Naruto edges him out at this point, as as far as talent goes. Um so Naruto challenges not I'm sorry, by the way, Sasuke challenges Naruto to a fight um on the roof of the hospital, and uh Naruto doesn't back down, he they fight, and um they're about to do uh Chidori versus Rasing sort of Rasing off and um Kakashi intervenes throwing both of their attacks into uh two water two different water towers. Um at first Sasuke looks smug as fuck because he sees how much damage the Chidori did to the water tower and is like, yeah, I'm that guy. And he also sees that there's only a pin prick where um Naruto's attack landed. Um Sasuke tries to not Sasuke, I'm sorry, Kakashi tries to talk both of them down.
